Abundance Algae Salad Dressing
Dress up those green, crunchy salads with the power of Abundance Algae!
Add a nutritional punch to your salads with this delectable salad dressing adapted from Becoming Vegan by Brenda Davis, RD and Vesanto Melina, RD.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flaxseed oil or olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup tamari or Bragg Liquid Aminos
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp Abundance Algae
- ½ avocado
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp maple syrup or raw honey
Note: For an oil free version, use 1 whole avocado and eliminate the oil.
Directions
Blend all ingredients together in a high-powered blender. Serve immediately as a salad dressing or blend with 1 cup raw, soaked cashews for a tasty creamy drizzle for baked root vegetables.
